Mid-Level Transportation Planner

LIN Consulting, a fast-growing engineering firm, has a mid-level transportation planner position opening in our Tustin office. LIN
Consulting specializes in all aspects of traffic planning and engineering, as well as, civil and electrical engineering, and is providing
services to Caltrans, counties, cities, and private owners and developers in the Southern California area.

The qualified applicant will be responsible for the traffic analysis and preparation of Transportation Management Plans, traffic impact
studies, traffic review letters, and parking analysis studies. Experience with traffic analysis as part of an EIS/EIR or PSR/PR, is highly
desirable. The position offers an excellent opportunity for the technical growth, project management and business development

Requirements:
-        4+ years of professional engineering experience in transportation planning;
-        Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Traffic Engineering or a related field;
-        Working knowledge of Synchro, HCS, and ICU methodology required; experience with travel demand models a plus;
-        Must have solid technical knowledge, and effective written and oral communication skills;
-        Experience with public presentation
-        Registered P.E. in civil, T.E., or PTOE is highly desirable;
-        Traffic design experience and knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Microstation a plus.


Traffic Project Manager

LIN Consulting is seeking a qualified individual for the position of
Traffic Project Manager in our Diamond Bar, CA office. The ideal
candidate will have expertise in the areas of traffic engineering design. LIN Consulting specializes in all aspects of traffic, civil, and
electrical engineering. The firm has an established reputation for providing engineering services to Caltrans, counties, and cities, as
well as to private owners and developers in the Southern California area.

The Traffic Project Manager will be responsible for project/task management, schedule and budget control, plan and report
production and review, quality control, and assistance in marketing activities.  Specific projects involved may include traffic signal
design, traffic signal system design, worksite traffic control plans, ITS design, traffic studies, traffic impact analysis, and traffic
management plans.  Experience with Caltrans PS&E is highly desirable.

Requirements:
        6+  years of professional engineering experience in traffic engineering,
        Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field,
        California registered P.E. in civil is required,

        Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD and/or MicroStation,
        Must have solid technical knowledge and effective communication skills in writing and oral presentation.
